KNOB A SIESTA 'IN MY HEAD THERE IS SILENCE AND A HULA-HULA GIRL DANCING TO A MAKE-BELIEVE TUNE'

"Condensed, dusty, and crackling, but very intense manoeuvres, somewhere in between ambient, new contemporary music, noise, film music and drones, that is full of urban nightmoods. And one of those records that is terribly hard to put into precise words. It has to be heard."
Steffen B. Pedersen // Geiger

The Danish duo, Knob A Siesta, was formed in 2003 and consists of Casper Bach Hegstrup and Christian Skjødt, and brings together these two very different musicians through their shared love of electronic music. Without the use of set rhythmic structures and much actual melodic material, 'In My Head There Is Silence And A Hula-Hula Girl Dancing To A Make-Believe Tune' shifts from quiet, droning planes of sound through beautiful sonorous passages towards noisier spheres. The album is created through the use of various objects, electronics, toys, keyboards and computers.
